Information event for project implementers involved in projects according to activity Attracting Scientists from Abroad to Carry Out Research

The Research Council of Lithuania invites to an information event the project implementers involved in projects according to activity Attracting Scientists from Abroad to Carry Out Research under Measure 01.2.2.-LMT-K-718 Targeted Research in Smart Specialisation Areas. The event will provide general information on project implementation, project estimate requirements, submission of applications for payments, etc. The event will take place at the Research Council of Lithuania (Small Hall, Gedimino Ave. 3, Vilnius) on 11 January 2019, at 9:00 a.m. Registration deadline 9 January 2019. 14th International Congress of Parasitology ICOPA (Daegu, South Korea)

On 19-24th August 2018, South Korea hosted 14th International Congress of Parasitology (ICOPA2018). Researchers from almost 90 countries participated in this event. Senior researcher dr. Vaidas Palinauskas (P.B. Šivickis Parasitology Laboratory) has attended the conference and made oral presentation entitled “Avian malaria parasites: disease severity and peculiarities of diagnosis”. Vaidas Palinauskas as a Vice-President of Scandinavian-Baltic Society for Parasitology together with SBSP board and Danish Society for Parasitology had successful bid to host in 2022next ICOPA in Copenhagen. For the first time the biggest International Congress of Parasitology will be hosted in our home region (Northern Europe).
