Competition for Researcher position (Laboratory of Marine Ecology)
The Nature Research Centre announces a competition for a Researcher position at the Laboratory of Marine Ecology (1 position, 1 FTE). Priority is given to candidate's experience in environmental condition assessment according to fish population indicators and according to fish population assessment in the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea; experience in Lithuanian eel population investigation; experience in assessment of the impacts of environmental factors (water salinity, nitrogen compounds) on freshwater fish growth and behaviour; ability to use ArcGis; ability to analyse collected data and prepare scientific publications. Nature of work: fieldwork and laboratory experiments, processing and analysing fieldwork and laboratory data and the newest scientific literature, preparation of scientific publications.
