Pasque flowers already blooming in sandy pinewoods of Lithuania
The most beautiful spring flowers – pasque flowers – are already blooming in sandy pinewoods of Lithuania. You shouldn't gather them – they are rare and protected. The pasque flower is on the Red Data Book of Lithuania. Besides, all parts of this plant are toxic and wither quickly after gathered. Enjoy pasque flowers in the forest, or view the photos by Dr Justas Dainys, Researcher of the Laboratory of Fish Ecology: https://www.efoto.lt/user/65097/nuotraukos/tag/18556.
