European Institute of Innovation and Technology invites Lithuania to explore cooperation opportunities


On 29 March, the delegation of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) will visit Vilnius. The delegation will introduce the opportunities of involvement into EIT activities and of cooperation to representatives of Lithuanian business, research and public sectors.

The EIT is an initiative established to create an attractive environment for global-level innovations and new entrepreneurship initiatives. One of the main purposes of the EIT is to consolidate cooperation in the knowledge triangle (business, education and research sectors) through operation of knowledge and innovation communities.

The event will be participated by EIT Director Martin Kern, Vice-ministers of Economy and Innovation Gintaras Vilda and Jekaterina Rojaka, Head of European Commission's Representation in Lithuania Arnoldas Pranckevičius, and representatives of all EIT communities.

The event will take place at M. Mažvydas Library, Conference Hall 501 (Gedimino Ave. 51, Vilnius) on 29 March, at 10 A.M. The event is free.
