Invitation to apply to the 9th Young Researchers' Conference

The Division of Mathematical, Physical and Chemical Sciences and the Division of Technical Sciences of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with INFOBALT Association organize the 9th Young Researchers' Conference "Multidisciplinary Research in Physical and Technological Sciences". Conference Patron – the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania.

The purpose of the Young Researchers' Conference is to present the best young researchers' achievements in mathematics, physics, biochemistry, chemistry, astronomy, electronics, informatics, mechanics, energy, materials science, and civil engineering.

The conference will be organised in three sections: Physical Sciences, Technological Sciences, and Innovations. The section of Innovations is the organisers' new initiative to involve researchers dealing with the issues related to: scientific research results and inventions leading to the development and renovation of the nomenclature of products (services) and to the improvement, development and introduction of technologies into local and foreign markets; generation and implementation of new ideas in developing new products, processes and services contributing to the growth of national economy and employment; successful commercial application of new technologies, ideas and methods in launching new, or improving the already existing products and processes on the market.

The conference will be held at the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences on 12 March 2019. Oral and poster presentations are invited. Young researchers (students that have scientific publications in journals with the impact factor, masters, residents, doctoral students, doctors, postdoctoral researchers) as well as business and innovations specialists (up to the age of 40) are invited to apply.
