Nature Research Centre's researchers became winners of competition for best research works by young researchers and doctoral students
On 25 February 2020, the General Assembly of the Members of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences was held. One of agenda issues was awarding of the winners of the competition for the best research works by young researchers and doctoral students.
Dr Juliana Lukša, Researcher at the Laboratory of Genetics, was awarded a diploma in the Division of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences for her research work "The functioning of microorganism populations and biocidic systems in plant ecosystems important for agriculture".
Dr Justas Dainys, Researcher at the Laboratory of Fish Ecology, was awarded a certificate of merit in the Division of Biological, Medical and Geosciences for his research work "Migration of European eels (Anguilla anguilla L.) in Lithuania and potential contribution to restoring spawning stocks".
